This is an idea that you would have expected from Swarovski, a watch with a sapphire crystal cut so that the sides of the watchglass resemble a gemstone, but in fact it was thought up by Dolce & Gabbana. The case in pink gold, 24 x 24 mm, is also faceted, and likewise the crown, which has a natural ruby set into it. The dial is enamelled in the same colour as the strap so the strap seems to be running right through the piece. The watch has an ETA quartz movement providing hour and minute indications. The strap is in silk stain with a pink gold pin buckle. The watch is available in a range of five colours. Price €5,950, reference WWFC2G-XCKCT-F0321 (the last part of the reference number changes for each colour). More info and store addresses at www.dolcegabbanawatches.com
I have had a D&G black strap silver oblong watch for about 15 years. The band slides through from one side to the other–12 to 6, and the strap has broken. No jeweler can give me a new band because it is unusual. Actually, what happened is that the buckle broke (the leather gave out) . The watch has 4 dials marked by a small diamond dot–at the 12, 3, 6, and 9. above the 6 is the ” D & G “. Is it at all possible to get a new black band or any color band, or do you still sell this watch? My son gave it to me as a gift. I believe he purchased it in Germany. Please advise. I love this watch. please advise.
