It can be a wristwatch, a pocket watch, or a table watch, and the conversion from one pattern to another is so simple that the user can do it himself or herself without any tools. Bovet has presented its Amadeo Fleurier Virtuoso III 5-Day Tourbillon with Retrograde Perpetual Calendar. Dial indications are very clear, with hours and minutes, day and month in letters, date shown by a triangular hand on a retrograde display, leap year, and power reserve (five days). The tourbillon is in prominent display at 6 o’clock. The use of sapphire discs for the day and month indications reveal more of the movement, where metal plates and bridges are all decorated with the Fleurier motif.
The hours and minutes can alo be displayed on the reverse side, on a lacquered dial, useful for when the watch is used as a pocket watch or table clock, or just to give the wristwatch a new appearance. The design of the watch is entirely classical, based on pocket watch forms with the crown at the top: one of the characteristics of Bovet, a maison dedicated to traditional watchmaking.
It is made in 18-carat rose or white gold, with black or white dial. The watch costs CHF 300,000 (excl. VAT) for the red gold version, CHF 310,000 for the white gold version. See more at www.bovet.com
