This watch is a limited edition version of the Montblanc Heritage Chronométrie ExoTourbillon Minute Chronograph, basically the same watch, but with a sapphire caseback decorated with a drawing of the São Gabriel, the ship that Vasco da Gama used for his pioneering voyage to India in 1497. In addition, the upper part of the dial is in aventurine dyed dark blue, which creates an attractive night-sky effect. The Montblanc star emblem appears at 12 o’clock. The 44 mm case is in white gold, with a black alligator leather strap. It is a 60-piece limited edition, with the price of €45,000.
