Italian brand GaGà Milano runs great parties. Their design studio, masterminded by Ruben Tomella, is in Crema, a sleepy town just south of Milan; their watches are made in Switzerland. Gagà Milano Carbon 48 mm is a new series of fashion-influenced watches with case in carbon fibre featuring the brand’s hallmark splayed lugs and top-mounted crown. The dial is in enamel dial. The quirky numerals are in metal appliqués, and the hands are coated in luminous paint. The different versions have various finishes for numerals, hands, bezel and crown, plated in yellow or pink gold, or with black PVD coating. The photos below are probably of watches that were prepared for Baselworld 2016: the actual production watches will be available only from about October 2016, and will presumably have better finish. The watch is powered by a manually-wound Swiss-made movement, with 36 hours power reserve. The strap is in canvas, made in Italy. Price €2,590. Read more at http://www.gagamilano.com/en
