The Bulgari Octo Ultranero Finissimo Tourbillon is another variant of the Finissimo Tourbillon that was presented in 2014, and it is still the record-holder for the thinnest flying tourbillon movement, BVL 268, at 1.95 mm thickness. The movement is hand-wound and has a 52-hour power reserve.

The principal new feature of this year’s Ultranero version of the Finissimo Tourbillon is the case, in black DLC-coated titanium. It is 40 mm in diameter and just 5 mm thick, with a water resistance of 30 metres The pink gold crown has a ceramic insert. The caseback is transparent to reveal the movement. Hands are skeletonized in order to increase the visibility of the dial and in particular the tourbillon at 6 o’clock. The strap is in black alligator with a black DLC-coated titanium pin buckle.
