Watches Of Italy 2024 is an annual event presenting the latest innovations in the field of Italian watches. This edition is the fifth show in the series and there are some new features. First and foremost is the location, no longer in Tortona, but now Novi Ligure, at the Museo dei Campionissimi, Viale dei Campionissimi 2. It will be held on Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 October 2024, admission free, open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Watches Of Italy 2024 is a useful and prestigious event because it reveals all the energy that exists in Italy’s watchmaking culture and gives enthusiasts the chance not only to view the latest models, but also to purchase timepieces and accessories. The formula is accessible both for the exhibiting companies and for the general public, making it a great place to view the latest Italian start-ups and micro-brands.
There will be many new watches on show. Lots of divers’ watches, such as ALP by Aion, AIR-1 Solo Titanio, Audace 500 by Nostas, Aquas by Officine Tecniche, Calipso GMT by Viqueria, and others. Echo/Neutra present their fourth collection, Rivanera, with a rectangular case just 5.5 mm thick containing a hand-wound ETA movement visible through the transparent caseback.
For Te is a new brand founded this year, unusual because it doesn’t sell online but only at their store in the city of Forte dei Marmi. Ichnos presents a watch just 7 mm thick, achieved using the super-slim Peseux 7001 movement. Inceptum will present their new movement Inceptum I-02, thickness just 3.15 mm. Morezzi Milano will showcase their latest Italian-made movement, including phases of the moon and world time complications. TRC Watch will present its military-style watches powered by Seiko NH35 movements. Veitha will present its convertible watches, whose colours and functions can be changed by means of interchangeable covers and quick-change straps. And this are just a few highlights: there will be much, much more.
You can enjoy a sophisticated lunch at the show thanks to chef Claudia Colla and the sommeliers of food and wine association “Incontri DiVini,” who will be present at the location.

A few brief notes on the Watches Of Italy 2024 venue, Museo dei Campionissimi, Novi Ligure
Watches Of Italy 2024 will be held in Novi Ligure, a city with a population of about 27,000, home to some important brands – Novi and Pernigotti chocolate, Saiwa biscuits, and Campari, primary ingredient of the famous Campari Spritz – and powerful links to the world of cycle racing because it is on the route of the classic Milan-Sanremo race. The name Novi Ligure reflects Italy’s complex history: from its name, one would expect it to be part of the region of Liguria as for centuries it was part of the Republic of Genoa, but in actual fact it is part of the region of Piedmont. It was captured by the Visconti family of Milan in 1353, returned to Genoa in 1447, and it became part of the French empire in 1805 before its inclusion in the Kingdom of Sardinia in 1815. After Italian unification in about 1850, its position on the Turin-Genoa railway led to notable industrial expansion. Today, in addition to chocolate, biscuits and Campari, Novi Ligure is at the centre of an area producing fine wines – such as the whites Gavi and Cortese – and mulberries, along with other agricultural products.
Museo dei Campionissimi celebrates the cyclists Fausto Coppi, born in Castellania, not far from Novi Ligure, and Costante Girardengo, born in Novi. It is located in a converted steelworks and presents exhibits that illustrate the development of the bicycle, the two champions Coppi and Girardengo, plus art and video-art on the theme of cycle racing.
