This is a special edition presented at Baselworld 2015, a mechanical automatic watch with a COSC-certified Calibre 80 movement providing 80 hours power reserve. It is distinctive for its touches of orange (now the brand’s signature colour) and for its dial design with the external part of the dial bearing the minute indications sloping downwards. The designers were inspired by the Colosseum in Rome.
The case is 42 mm in diameter, in stainless steel, with screw-down crown: water resistance is rated at 100 metres. The transparent caseback reveals the COSC-certified movement (COSC is Contrôle Officiel Suisse des Chronomètres, the Swiss chronometer testing institute); the watch is mounted on a stainless steel bracelet.
Calibre 80 movement
The Calibre 80 COSC is the ETA C07.621, a 3-hand automatic movement exclusive to Swatch Group companies running at 21,600 vph (3 Hertz).
