At Baselworld 2015, Hublot presented three new Big Bang Unico models to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the watch that was pivotal to the brand’s success. The Full Magic Gold version is made with a case and bezel in scratch-resistant Magic Gold, an alloy created from 75% gold and 25% ceramic. The bezel has the brand’s classic “porthole” design with 6 H-shaped titanium screws with black PVD coating; the dial is skeletonized, with subdial for small seconds at 9 o’clock, and chronograph minutes at 3 o’clock. The Hublot logo is applied to the inner face of the watchglass. The watch is powered by the HUB 1242 UNICO flyback chronograph movement, with column wheel and double clutch on the dial side and partly visible. Power reserve is about 72 hours. The watch has a ribbed black rubber strap, which has Hublot’s interchangeable strap-changing system.
